Nepal’s three hydropower projects receive ‘Hydropower Sustainability Certification’

In Bali, Indonesia, three of Nepal’s hydropower projects received the ‘Hydropower Sustainability Standard’ certification during the World Hydropower Congress organized by the International Hydro Power Association (IHA). The 9.51 MW Mai Beni Hydroelectric Power Station, operated by Samling Power Limited, was awarded ‘Gold Certification’. Additionally, the under-construction 110.20 MW Upper Chuwa Lurupya Khola and 98.17 MW Chuwa Khola projects were also globally certified.
