Mr. Oblique Shrestha

Oblique Shrestha is a Ph.D. candidate, academic researcher, a professional in the Hydro Power sector, and a ‘Nepal Bidya Bhusan Kha’ awardee (an academic gold medalist). He has over 12 years of extensive experience in the field of Hydro and Electro-Mechanical components. He led numerous Mechanical works of Hydro Power Projects and competent in the design, procurement; fabrication, installation, and commissioning of Hydro and Electro-Mechanical components. He has also been involved in Construction Supervision; Factory Acceptance test of Mechanical equipment; Due Diligence; Interim Payment Certificate (IPC); Detail Project Report (DPR) and Preparation of the Tender Documents for the Hydro-Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Equipment. He has additionally been engaged in planning, Budgeting, Quality control, logistic, management, and documentation in this sector. He has detailed knowledge of laboratory and field testing of various types of water-driven turbines which incorporates Francis, Pelton, Cross Flow, and Turgo Turbine. Mr. Shrestha is currently engaged in overall development phases of all projects related to Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd.
