Environment and Social Safeguard Associate

Jyotika Shah received her Bachelor’s in Environmental Science (focused on Environmental Analysis) from SUNY-ESF in Syracuse, New York, USA. She has worked with sanitation issues, waste management, study and analysis of hazardous materials, and also has experience in conducting a Life Cycle Assessment for hydropower projects in Nepal. Her role is focused on ensuring that the company meets environmental compliance and regulatory requirements. Currently, she is working with the Urja ESHS team to develop an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) for Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd. and affiliated companies.
